Painter, Professor of Fine Arts "Febo Martí was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina. He stayed in London and attended the Slade School of Fine Arts and the Central School of Arts and Crafts where he studied the technics of stained-glass. This influenced his painting, his colors are intense and brilliant closer in feeling to the stained glass which he worked as a youth.

Febo Martí paints intimate interiors, landscapes and still lives. The friezes of vessels, the flower jars are either painted with subtle chromatic touches of brown, ochre, umber, and grey or with magnificent, pompous colors where damp greens, fascinating corals go hand in hand with impetuous yellows and deep violets.

This complete rainbow is also the realm of lights, a light that prevails in all his paintings."
