Life & Works

Born in Buenos Aires, in 1929.
He ‘s had many personal exhibitions and has participated in various group exhibitions in Argentina in prestigious galleries such as Peauser, Witcomb, Liralay, Rodrigo Carmona, Lagard, Martha Zulio, O.E.A. and Banco Patricios Foundation.
Until 1977 he was Chief of Scenography in the Colon Theater, where he designed the scenography got many ballets, such as “The Truth” (first informal decoration I Argentina), “The Bird of Fire”, “ the Mask” and “The Face”, among others.
He has been exhibiting abroad since 1987 in Aramayo Gallery in Montevideo and in Punta del Este.
As a member of the A.N.F.A. group he participated in exhibitions at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, The Buenos Aires Municipal Museum of Modern Art, Castagnino Museum in Rosario Argentina and Paraná Museum of Fine Arts.
He has also exhibited many times in Argentina and abroad sponsored by The Astor Piazzola Foundation of which he is a member.
Since 1991 he has been a member of the Orient Group, participating in successful exhibitions in Hong Kong, Beijing, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia, London and Tegucigalpa.
He was selected together with Hector Borla and Josefina Robirosa to represent Argentine Republic in the Latin American Painting exhibition commemorating the 500 years of the discovery of America.
He has participated in the BA Art fair in 1993,95,96,98 and 1999.
In 1996, the Argentine Consulate in Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay, opened its Cultural Center with an exhibition of his work.
He participated in the “Four Argentine Painters” exhibition organized by the Xunta de Galicia in Madrid in 1997.
Clarín, La Nación, El Día from La Plata, La Prensa and La Opinión newspapers and many specialized magazines, both Argentine and foreign such as First, Dirigencia, Notas, La Revista, Documenta, Arte al Día, Visión, Hong Kong News Strais, Times Malasya LiterArte (Honduras) Reflejos Argentinos (Surcos Foundation) among others, have published critical judgments about his work.
He appears “Who I Who in Argentina”, Art in America Encyclopedia, 80 Years of Argentine Painting (Córdoba Iturburu), Brief History of Contemporary Argentine Painting (Maria Laura San Martin), Dictionary of Plastic Artists (Gesualdo), “1999 Annual, Contemporary Argentine Painting” (Bardon Group) and others.
His works are part of important private collections in Argentina, the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Uruguay, Hong Kong, Spain and Sweden.
