ruben ruiz caballero
Ruben Ruiz was born in Havana, Cuba in 1947. His family came to Miami in 1956 which he now calls home.
Ruiz studied Art at Miami Dade with Robert Huff and in 1969 did special studies in Romanesque and Modern Art at the University of Barcelona, Spain. In 1975 he received his Bachelors Degree in Administration from FIU where he also did ceramic work.
In 2000, he began to produce iron sculptures for private and corporate collections.
He has exhibited locally as well as internationally both sculptures and paintings...
